Our Process for Established Products

Step 1: Our White Label Process

Browse our catalog of ready-to-produce sauces, seasonings, and jams developed by our experienced Food Product Development Team. We offer a variety of flavor profiles — from classic BBQ and hot sauces to sweet glazes and fruit-forward jams — all crafted with consistency and shelf stability in mind.
Each recipe is tested, compliant, and production-ready.

Step 2: Branding & Label Design

Once you’ve chosen your products, it’s time to make them yours. Our team will work with you to customize your packaging and label design to fit your brand’s personality and sales goals. You can provide your own label design or use our in-house design services (available for an additional fee).We also handle FDA and USDA compliance checks for your labels, ensuring your product meets all required standards before it reaches the shelf.

Step 3: Packaging, Nutritional Analysis & Compliance

Every white label product includes the option to tailor packaging sizes and materials to your market needs.
We offer:

  • Packaging Options: A wide variety of bottles, jars, and closures to match your brand’s style.

  • Nutritional Analysis: $150 per formula, plus $25 for each additional size, specific to your package’s serving size and weight.

  • UPC Codes: Available for $25 each to ensure your product is ready for retail and e-commerce.

  • Allergen Identification: We’ll confirm and declare all applicable allergens in compliance with FDA standards.

Step 4: Testing, Certification & Production

All sauces and similar products must undergo independent lab testing to confirm shelf-life and product stability.

  • Process Authority Letter: Required by the FDA and FDACS. Typical cost: $250–$550 depending on complexity.

  • Seasonings & Rubs: Exempt from this requirement.

After certification, your product is ready for commercial production. Imperial Polk Bottling Co. maintains ownership of any commercial duplication formulas developed through this process — ensuring compliance, quality, and consistency with every batch.

Step 4: Production & Fulfillment

Once your product and label are approved, we move directly into production at our FDA-licensed and Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services–certified facility.

  • Batch Sizes: No minimum order — scale at your own pace.

  • Lead Time: Approximately four weeks from order to delivery.

  • Deposit: 65% due at order, with the balance due at pickup or shipment.

  • Storage: Orders not picked up or shipped within one week may incur storage fees.

All raw ingredients, bottles, and closures are sourced by Imperial Polk Bottling Co., ensuring quality control and consistent supply.
